Services Provided by
Mary Jo Johnson, MPA, CMC

Mary Jo Johnson’s career has been tirelessly devoted to serving seniors and their families since 1988, with a particular passion for dementia care. Her professional passion turned deeply personal when her father was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease and lived at an innovative memory care facility she led in the design and was the Director. Mary Jo has presented at numerous workshops, conferences, and community educational forums. She has served in various leadership roles at some of Michigan's leading long-term care organizations providing independent living, adult day services, respite care, assisted living, memory care, Hospice, and skilled nursing home care. She was the founder and previous co-owner of Stone Lodge Memory Care. Mary Jo has her master’s degree in public administration (MPA) from Western Michigan University. She was honored to be the recipient of WMU School of Public Affairs and Administration’s 2002 “Dr. George James Award” for outstanding community service and innovative problem-solving for her work in dementia care. Mary Jo believes her professional experience combined with her personal caregiver experience makes her able to relate well to those who are traveling a similar journey allowing her to provide valuable guidance and support. Once you meet her, you will quickly learn what's most important is not how much she knows, but how much she cares. Currently, she is the founder of Aging Concepts, LLC, as an Aging Life Care Professional with the Aging Life Care Association (ALCA) and a Certified Care Manager with the National Academy of Certified Care Managers (NACCM).

listen to their words.
If you want to know someone's heart,
